ddcToolset is a collection of utilities to aid in the production and maintenance of Alerton BACtalk displays as well as reading and writing controller point data.

Reads your Inkscape file and creates a new startup display of omnigraphic objects. Can read both the device-id and zone name from the Inkscape file. Supports Omnigraphic styles so you do not need to edit the Omnigraphic objects once they are created.
Display Renumbering (dNumber.exe)
Now a standalone app!. This tool can renumber the displays of a rep-job by searching all display and template files and changing the target id numbers as well as renaming the files. Has a pre-check tool to make sure you don’t use the same target ID more than once. Can round-robin file names (1 to 2, 2 to 3, 3 to 1) in a single pass.
Display Framing (dFrame.exe)
Loads a frame style followed by a display or template files or a background image. Creates a new background image using the frame and existing image. When saving a display or template file dFrame can also update the correct location of all display objects in the file. Has tools to paint on the new image file in order to change fill and text box colors as well as change the background color of the display objects when saving the new files. Includes tools for creating frame styles.
Paste points and descriptions in to a spreadsheet like grid and press a button to create a startup display or template. Create R/O, prompted, checkboxes and graphic objects. Use style templates to preset the object properties.
Quickview Creator (QVC)
Use a predefined source display to create a quickview or summary displays. Create up to 200 displays with a single press of a button. Project files can be saved and used again on other jobs
Load, view and edit a display file using a spreadsheet like interface. Search-and-replace for quick global changes to properties. Replaces the use of Admod in most cases.
Quick Header Editor (QHE)
Load, view and edit the header properties for all display files in a folder using a spreadsheet like interface. Search-and-replace for quick global changes to properties. Replaces older dSec.exe and dBackexe programs.
Advanced Display Modifier (Admod)
Apply numerous display modifications to multiple source displays in a single pass. Save and recall setups
Search one or all the rep-jobs in a EFB, ABS or Compass release for references to a graphic file or a display/template target instance.
Display to Database (D2D)
Produces a cross reference between a point database and a series of Alerton displays to locate missing points in the database or display.
Display Explorer (DispX)
Summarize the display and template along with the objects in a explorer-like view. Reports errors found. Will render the BACtalk display files in a viewer window while you browse rep/jobs.
A quick way to set values in multiple points across multiple devices using the BACtalk activex interface. Presents the device database in a tree view where you select which device to send commands to. Allows up to 32 points to be commanded across the selected devices. Allows you to group devices together in a set for those cases where you send the same set of commands to the same devices. Allows the creation of point lists that can be saved and then loaded again. Has a client mode that allows dealers to customization the utility for customers.
Waldo
Creates a list of any global or VLX point that has a non-NULL value for a priority array. Can skips those priorities that are written to by DDC . Uses the Alerton activex interface.
Free standalone point database editor for EFB, ABS and Compass. Has most of the functionality of the ddcbar Point-Editor. Can also connect to Visio (ddcbar licensed users only) for automation tasks.
IOcalc
A quick way to calculate the number of IO’s needed for a VLX system or any multiple controller group. Lets you enter the total IO’s needed and then create a list of controllers/expanders that match that need.
The ddcToolset is not yet high DPI aware.
